Tiffin, Ohio - The Albion Men's Soccer team picked up a 3-2 win over the Knights of Heidelberg.
Christian Orpineda led the team with five shots and
Tyler Craig added in four. The Brits would out shoot the Knights 21-9, with 14 of the 21 being on goal.
The Brits would come out the gate with a shot on goal in the opening minute. The Knights would also come out aggressive and in the 10th minute they would get the first goal. The Brits would take three shots looking to even the score, however the Knights would find the goal for a second time in the 20th minute. The Brits would capitalize on a penalty by the Knights and
Ivan Murillo would give the Brits their first goal in the 38th minute. The Brits would head into the half down 1-2.
The Brits would come out of the half and quickly even the score after a goal by
Otto Baltbardis in the 48th minute. Both teams offenses would struggle to get shots off, however in the 68th minute
Tyler Craig would find the goal off a pass from
Ryan Anderson, to take the lead 3-2. The Brits would outshot the Knights 5-2 in the final 20 minutes to secure a 3-2 victory.
The Brits return to action on Friday October 2nd as they host Cornerstone at 4PM.
