Achieved all-West Michigan “D” League honors in baseball, basketball, and track at Brethren High School…A four-time first team all-conference selection on baseball teams coached by Jim Richardson…Named the Bobcats’ most valuable player in basketball and baseball his senior year…Graduated fourth in his class and received the Presidential Gold Award, an honor reserved for students achieving at least a 3.7 grade point average…Lists running and kayaking as hobbies…His father, Jim, played hockey at the University of Illinois at Chicago…Son of Jim and Amy Richardson.
