Biography

Kyle Kowal2015: Appointed one of the team captains...Collected three hits in spring break games against Thomas More and Stockton.

2014: A starter in 39 games, mainly at third base...Team's third-leading hitter (.361, 43-for-119).

2013: Took over at third base and finished the season with the team’s fourth-best batting average (.283)...Drew 11 walks and was hit by pitch six times to lift his on-base percentage to .379...Ripped off a streak with hits in 11 of 12 games, including eight straight games, in March...Went 4-for-6 with two RBI in the March 24 doubleheader against Kalamazoo.

A Macomb Area Conference Gold Division first team pick while playing for Coach Dave Kuppe his senior year…A two-time MAC Blue Division first team selection as a center for the hockey team…A two-time MAC academic award winner in baseball…Son of Kurt and Paula Kowal.
