2012: Turned in one of the finest seasons by an Albion pitcher with a single-season school record 73 strikeouts, seven wins (tied for second-most in a season at Albion), 70 innings pitched (fifth-most in a season at Albion)...Tied for fourth in the MIAA with five victories and was third with 46 strikeouts in MIAA games to gain all-MIAA second team status...Threw complete-game shutouts against Calvin (six hits with 10 strikeouts) and Alma (four hits with eight strikeouts)...Notched a career-high 12 strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work in his second start of the season at Franklin... Placed on the MIAA’s Academic Honor Roll, an award reserved for scholar-athletes who achieve a 3.5 GPA in both semesters of the academic year.

2011: Threw 52.2 innings in seven league starts as he achieved all-MIAA second team status for the second time...His 2.73 ERA in league play was among the best in the MIAA...Best start of the campaign was a one-run, seven-hit complete game in Albion’s 3-1 win over Hope...Collected a season-high seven strikeouts against Hope...Suffered a tough 1-0 10-inning loss to Olivet in which he scattered three hits and two walks over 9.2 innings.

2010: Gained all-MIAA second team recognition after going 4-2 with a 4.22 ERA in six starts in league play...Allowed one earned run in both of his spring break appearances (took loss in college debut versus Wittenberg, allowing two runs, one earned on seven hits and a walk with five strikeouts in six innings; yielded three runs, one earned on two hits and two walks with four strikeouts in four-inning relief appearance against Fairleigh Dickinson)...Put seven strikeouts in the scorebook in his first start in the northern climate at Defiance (seven innings, five runs, four earned on 10 hits and two walks)...Won his first two MIAA starts on the road (two runs, one earned on eight hits and two walks with two strikeouts in a complete game at Trine; five runs, two earned on six hits and a walk with six strikeouts at Alma)...Also pitched complete-game victories over Kalamazoo and Adrian on the road.Before Albion: A first team all-district selection along with Division 1 all-league honors…Played on De LaSalle Collegiate state championship winning team his senior season.
