Biography

2011: Made 13 relief appearances...Got the final out in the 5-0 win over Olivet on April 16...Struck out four in a 1.2-inning outing in the second game of the March 12 twinbill at Franklin...His longest appearance was two innings of the first game against Kalamazoo on May 5.

2010: Led the pitching staff with 17 appearances, including a start in the non-league date with Spring Arbor...Allowed an unearned run on three hits in 0.2 inning in a March 8 game against Wittenberg to pocket his first career victory...Pitched two scoreless frames (allowing one hit) to gain the victory in Albion’s 6-5 victory over Defiance on March 21...Threw scoreless innings in two of the four games in the series against Kalamazoo...Recorded a career-high four strikeouts while throwing 1.2 innings of scoreless relief in the second game of the twinbill at Adrian.Prior to Albion: Three-time first team all-Southern Michigan Activities Assocation performer under coach Jim McDaniels at Stockbridge High School…Earned first team all-district honors junior and senior seasons...Member of high school’s National Honor Society.
