Spring 2021: A key to the defensive line, Aukema played in all three games ... Finished with five tackles, including one for loss

2019: The starting defensive tackle, he was credited with 20 tackles, including 4 ½ for loss and 2 ½ sacks...Collected a tackle for loss in five games...Finished the Defiance game with five tackles and had three against Kalamazoo and Finlandia.

2018: Qualified for the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Academic Honor Roll for the second time...Collected six tackles and helped on a sack.
