Biography

2019: Scored his first touchdown at the collegiate level with a 50-yard touchdown return and wrapped up 10 tackles against Defiance.

2018: Finished second on the team with 63 tackles... Credited with 6 ½ tackles for loss (-22 yards), a fumble recovery and two passes broken up...Wrapped up  Credited with 2 ½ tackles for loss (-10 yards) at Trine, Ind.

2017: Credited with 16 tackles (5 solo, 11 assists).

Prior to Albion: A second team all-state and first team all-county and all-league performer in football at Madison High School...A three-year all-state performer in track...A member of the National Honor Society and an academic all-state award winner in track, he was involved in Meals on Wheels, Special Olympics, and Special Prom.

Personal: A business major with a concentration in education...Enjoys collecting shoes, playing video games and working out...Son of Chad and Heidi Slates.
