2022: He appeared and started in 18 games, but missed 2 games due to injury. He picked up 38 groundballs while causing 28 turnovers. He recorded his season high 4 caused turnovers in the game against Trine and picked up his season high 4 groundballs in the MIAA championship game against Hope. 
2021: In the first week of the season, he caused one turnover, had one assist and scooped up two groundballs...Against Hope College, he picked up four ground balls and had four caused turnovers...He scored his first goal of the season against Alma (04/06/21), caused two turnovers and had one assist. Named Second Team All MIAA. 

2020*: Played in six games, earning the start in all six...Tallied two assists on the year, both coming at Hanover (3/8/20)...Caused seven turnovers, including three against Elmhurst (2/25/20)...Recorded 12 ground balls

2019: An all-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association second team pick at defense...Caused 14 turnovers, third-most on the team...Collected 18 groundballs.

A four-year scholar-athlete award winner and two-year team captain at Chaminade College Prep...Chose Albion because of its great educational resources and the ability to play for an outstanding program...Son of Tom and Michele Nelson...His sister, Taylor, '18, represented the Albion women's lacrosse program as a three-time all-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association pick on defense as well as the 2018 MIAA Defensive MVP.
