Andy Herriott comes to Albion after serving as an assistant coach during the 2018 season at No. 3 ranked Gettysburg College. The Bullets were NCAA Tournament semifinalists in 2018, and their 19 victories marked the second-highest win total in team history. The school record for victories was set by the 2015 team which finished 20-1. At Gettysburg, his primary responsibility was coaching face-offs and wing play, in addition to running the substitution box on game day.  In the 2018 season, Coach Herriott mentored Geoff Fulgione, who was named to the All-Centennial Conference second team. Fulgione finished the season at 63%, and was the first face-off player from Gettysburg named All-CC in more than 10 seasons. 

In addition to his work at Gettysburg, Herriott simultaneously completed his Master’s degree in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership from the University of Washington. Coach Herriott has played many sports at varying competitive levels including winning a national championship with the Seattle Gaels Hurling Club. He has also played competitive esports in DoTA 2. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Coach Herriott Graduated from the University of Cincinnati, relocating to Seattle after graduation to work in Americorps for two terms of service. Coach Herriott has also lived in South Africa where he studied sport and community, and China where he taught English.
