Albion College

2023: Started all 19 games this season recording 11 goals, 8 assists, 283 ground balls, and 7 caused turnovers. He also went 355-576 (0.62) from the faceoff X. Recorded a season high 4 points against Kalamazoo. He also had a season high night against Southwestern with 31 groundballs which sits first in the record book for ground balls in a game. He also set the new record for ground balls in a single season and with 350 career groundballs he is second in the record book in that category. He was named MIAA Athlete of the Week three times this year and was also named MIAA Defensive Player of the Year as well as First Team All-MIAA. 

2022: He appeared in 15 games this season, missing a few due to injury. He recorded 2 assists, 9 groundballs, and 2 caused turnovers. 

2021: In the season opener, Symons picked up 9 groundballs, had one assist and scored 2 goals for the Britons...Scored 3 goals against Alma (03/06/2021), caused 2 turnovers and scooped up 9 ground balls...Had another 3 goal performance against Hope...Earned 3 goals and 2 assists for the Brits against Calvin in addition to schooping up 5 groundballs. Earned Second Team All MIAA.

2020*: Played in three games as a freshman

Personal: He earned varsity letters for both hockey and lacrosse at Heritage where he also earned Academic All State, All State for hockey, and first team SVL for lacrosse. He is a biology major. The son of Barbara and Gregory Symons and brother to Melanie, Natalie, and Kirstie.
