Albion College

2022: He started all 20 games this season and finished 7th in the country for caused turnovers per game. He was named first team All-MIAA, honorable mention All-American, and was invited to play in the USILA Senior All-Star game. He finished the season out with 68 caused turnovers, 61 groundballs, and 3 assists. He recorded a season high 10 caused turnovers against Kalamazoo and 8 groundballs against the College of Wooster. 
2021: Picked up 5 groundballs and caused 3 turnovers in the season opener against Alma College...Scored 1 goal, scooped up 8 groundballs and caused 7 turnovers against Alma the second time...Picked up 6 groundballs and caused 4 turnovers against Hope...Caused 7 turnovers and scored 1 goal against Trine and had another 4 caused turnovers and goal against Alma (04/06/21). Earned First Team All MIAA, MIAA Defensive MVP, and Honorable Mention All American.

2020*: Played in six games, starting all six as a sophomore...Recorded a pair of assists...Scooped up 23 ground balls...Caused a team-high 11 turnovers.

2019: An all-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association first team pick at defense...Finished with a team-high 22 caused turnovers and his 41 groundballs were second-most on the team...Caused three turnovers against Wooster, Trine, and Kalamazoo...Scored his only point of the season with an assist in the regular season game at Hope.

Prior to Albion: A letterwinner in football and lacrosse at Harper Creek…A two-time all-city and all-conference pick on defense, he was a member of the Beavers 2016 conference and all-city champion lacrosse team…An all-city and all-conference linebacker in football, he was a member of the Beavers back-to-back Interstate 8 champion teams as well as the 2017 team that claimed district and regional championships…BJ Sports Bandits was his club team…Lists hunting, camping and fishing as hobbies…Chose Albion because it was the best option for an outstanding academic and athletic experience…A marketing major who is a member of the Carl A. Gerstacker Institute for Business and Management…Son of Andy and Heather Tatar.
