First-year forward Kyle Alsheskie tallied the equalizer midway through the second half, but Hope College scored twice in the final three minutes to send Albion College to a 3-1 loss in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's soccer action. Alsheskie scored his second goal of the season on a shot from six yards out. Jimmy Nieman took two of Albion's nine shots in the contest. Albion begins the second round of league play at home when it tackles Trine University at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
