ALBION – Albion College gave its best effort Saturday, but second-ranked Calvin College was simply too powerful as it swept the Britons by scores of 25-15, 25-11, 25-15 in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association volleyball match.

Jalyn Ingalls was moving all over the court – dishing out 10 assists and knocking down four blocks. Lauren DeLuyck, one of two Albion seniors playing in her final collegiate match, scored a team-high six kills.

Calvin received 16 kills from Lizzie Kamp. Julia Hilbrands added eight kills and four blocks and Kelly Gordon served up three of the Knights' eight aces.
