Box Score ALBION, Mich. – Tyler Kilpatrick (Rochester Hills/Rochester Adams) scored four second-half goals, Mitch Loney (Commerce Township/Walled Lake Northern) produced a goal and two assists in the fourth quarter, Kellen Riker (Swartz Creek/Flint Powers Catholic) scored twice in the fourth quarter, and Tim Urso (Novi/Detroit Catholic Central) tallied a pair of second-half goals as Albion College pulled away for a 14-1 win over the Milwaukee School of Engineering in Midwest Lacrosse Conference action at Sprankle-Sprandel Stadium.
Albion led 4-1 at halftime, but it produced three goals in the third quarter and it piled on seven goals in the fourth. Loney, who produced goals in the first and third quarters, finished with three goals and two assists.
Albion goalkeeper Kyle Formanczyk (Chesterfield/L'Anse Creuse North) made five of his seven saves in the first half. He was assisted by a defense that successfully rode the ball out of the back as Albion completed 15-of-16 clearing opportunities.
Albion, 5-4 overall, continues MLC play at home at 1 p.m. Sunday against Hanover College.
