OBERLIN, Ohio – Halle Thom produced 25 kills as Albion College split a pair of non-league volleyball matches Saturday. Thom knocked down 15 kills and Lauren DeLuyck added 14 to give Coach Kristin Slamer her first victory at the collegiate level as Albion defeated LaRoche (Pa.) College in four sets. (25-13, 25-20, 25-27, 25-17).

Thom knocked down 10 kills, DeLuyck had nine and Caitlin McClorey seven in Albion's four-set loss to Oberlin (Ohio) College (25-18, 17-25, 25-21, 25-23). McClorey also contributed five blocks against the Yeowomen.

Hayley Gitre produced 46 digs on the day to lead the defense.

Albion returns to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association action Tuesday when it makes a road trip to Adrian College.
