OLIVET – Albion had as many errors as it did kills in a 25-15, 25-18, 25-15 setback to Olivet College in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association volleyball action.

The Britons finished with 23 kills and 23 errors. Lauren DeLuyck produced a team-high seven kills.

Emma Brann and Stefanie Lang reached double figures in kills with 11 and 10, respectively, for Olivet.

DeLuyck knocked down a kill on the first point of the match, but Olivet reeled off the next seven. Albion trailed by as few as three in the first set as an attack error made the score 12-9.

Albion forged a tie at 10 in the second set when Caitlin McClorey drove a kill and Olivet committed an attack error. Olivet scored two points for every Albion tally to pull away down the stretch.
