ALBION, Mich. – The Albion College volleyball team completed the first week of its Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association schedule with a four-set setback to Saint Mary's College.

Saint Mary's won the first set, 25-19. Albion evened the match by eking out a 26-24 win in the second, but the Belles finished the contest with 25-15 and 25-20 decisions in the third and fourth sets.

Halle Thom, a first-year outside hitter from Okemos, contributed 10 kills and a block assist. Jalyn Ingalls and Caitlin McClorey added six kills apiece.
