ALBION, Mich. – Hope College, the second-ranked team in Division III, needed 58 minutes to walk off the Kresge Gymnasium court with a 25-8, 25-14, 25-13 victory over Albion College in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association volleyball match.

Albion finished with 13 kills and it scored nearly as many points off Hope hitting errors (12). The Flying Dutch also helped Albion with eight service errors.

McKaila Rose was Albion's top hitter, pounding five kills in 13 attacks for a .385 percentage. Halle Thom, Albion's leading hitter, was held to three kills.

Albion will play at home again Friday when Calvin College visits Kresge Gymnasium. The first serve of the varsity match is set for 6:30 p.m.
