BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - Christina Briden turned in her best round of the season and Celine McClimans and Katrina Tooker are among the top 20 individuals as Albion College kicked off the final Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree of the season with its lowest score of the fall.

Boosted by rounds of 86 by McClimans, 88 by Tooker, and 95 by Briden, the Britons finished Friday with a 372 team score. Though the Britons are in eighth place, they trail seventh-place Adrian College by two strokes.

Candace Myers also contributed to Albion's score with a round of 103.

The second round of the jamboree is set for Saturday at the Bedford Valley Country Club.
