FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- Anna Schaibly can officially add an MIAA Women's Golfer of the Week award to her resume.

The freshman won MIAA Jamboree No. 4 outright with a 72 this past Saturday, which was two strokes ahead of second place, at Pine River Country Club in Alma.

Schaibly's score was not only a career-low, but the best round of any golfer at the course ever in an MIAA round.

She also became the first Albion golfer to win an MIAA event since AnnMarie Jasieniecki when she won the tournament in 2006.

Schaibly will look to continue her superb scoring in the Britons' final meet of the season at its own Marshall Masters at Marshall Country Club on Thursday, October 16 at 11 a.m.
