BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – Albion College turned in another season-low score Saturday, but that did not help the Britons move up in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association's weekend jamboree at the Bedford Valley Country Club.
Albion posted a 368 score Saturday to finish the 36-hole event with an eighth-place total of 740. The Britons entered the day trailing seventh-place Adrian by two strokes, but the Bulldogs shot 10 better than Albion on Saturday.
Katrina Tooker shot a season-best 84 Saturday to finish 15th on the individual leader board with a 172 total. Celine McClimans tied for 16th with a second-round 87 and a 173 total.
Christina Briden turned in a season-low 90 Saturday to finish the weekend with a 185 total. Clare Russell provided a 107 score Saturday.
McClimans finished the season with an all-MIAA second team award.
