Albion Routs Adrian in Men's Tennis

ADRIAN, Mich. – Albion College won all six singles matches – including five in straight sets – to score an 8-1 victory over Adrian College in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's tennis contest.

Aaron Stanley had the most impressive scores of the day, defeating his opponent at No. 4 singles 6-1 and 6-0. Ross Kynast won the first set of the No. 6 singles match, 6-0, and he finished the match with a 6-4 victory in the second set.

Jonathan Gurnee won the No. 1 singles match by scores of 6-3 and 6-4, Eric Guindi earned a 6-1 and 6-3 victory at No. 2 singles and Tucker Blake took the No. 3 match by scores of 6-1 and 6-2.

Albion set the tone of the match as Blake and Guindi were 8-1 winners at the top of the doubles lineup.

Albion continues MIAA action April 6 with a match at Kalamazoo College.
