HOLLAND, Mich. - Eric Guindi and Ross Kynast won their singles matches in Albion College's 7-2 loss to Hope College in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's tennis action.

Guindi recovered from a 6-0 loss in the second set to score a win in the No. 2 singles match. Guindi won the first set, 6-3, and the third set, 6-1.

Kynast lost a first-set tiebreaker but he rebounded nicely with 6-3 and 10-3 wins to take the No. 5 singles contest.

Aaron Stanley nearly pushed the No. 4 singles match to three sets. He lost a second-set tiebreaker.

Albion will play its final two matches at home. The action begins at 3:30 p.m. Saturday when it challenges Calvin College.
