Men's Tennis Rolls Over MIAA Rival

Match Scores

ALBION, Mich. - Mother Nature was the only thing that could slow the Albion College men's tennis team's pursuit of its second win over a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rival this season.

Rain forced Albion to move its contest with Alma College inside the Ungrodt Tennis Center shortly after the players had started warming up for the doubles matches. It took longer, but Albion dispatched its MIAA rival, 8-1.

Eric Guindi and Tucker Blake had the Britons' most impressive wins. Guindi was a 6-0, 6-2 winner at No. 2, while Blake won the No. 3 contest by scores of 6-0 and 6-3.

Albion has nearly a week off from competition before a April 17 match at Hope College.
