KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Albion College doubles team of Eric Guindi and Jonathan Gurnee earned two victories Friday to advance to the round of 16 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Central Regional Championships.

Guindi and Gurnee started with an 8-6 victory over the seeded team of Alec Kaczkowski and Rico Lumanian from DePauw University. The Britons bounced Hope College's team of TJ Brogan and Cody Herbruck by an 8-6 score in the second round.

Guindi and Gurnee will meet the No. 7 seeded team from Washington (Mo.) University at 2 p.m. Saturday.
