Box Score ALBION, Mich. – Albion College will have to take the moral victory of holding down a prolific Calvin College attack despite a 2-0 loss to its Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rival at Alumni Field.
Calvin had scored at least three goals in its last six contests dating back to Sept. 6. Albion held the Knights scoreless for 67 minutes. Nick Groenewold converted a penalty kick with 22 minutes remaining and Travis Vegter tacked on his 13th goal of the season with 15 minutes to play.
Mike Tolkacz produced three of Albion's six shots.
Next up for Albion is a Tuesday date with Trine in Angola, Ind.
