ALBION, Mich. – Eric Guindi remained perfect in singles and he teamed with Jonathan Gurnee for a point at the top of the doubles lineup and Ross Kynast provided a point with a win at No. 4 singles in Albion College's 6-3 loss to Adrian College in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's tennis contest.
Guindi pushed his singles record to 11-0 with a straight sets victory over Jordan Verbauwhede. After pulling out a first-set tiebreaker, Guindi rolled to a 6-2 win in the second set.
Guindi and Gurnee were the first doubles team to finish, winning by an 8-2 score over Joey Loselle and Verbauwhede.
Kynast had the easiest match of the night, winning his singles match by scores of 6-1, 6-1.
Albion has a week to prepare for an April 5 home date against Kalamazoo College.
