COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. – Katrina Tooker and Celine McClimans scored in the 90s as Albion College competed in the Aquinas College Women's Golf Invitational at the Scott Lake Country Club.
Albion finished eighth out of nine teams in the event. Tooker needed 94 strokes to complete her round, and McClimans contributed a score of 95. Christina Briden and Candace Myers added scores of 110 for Albion's 409 total.
Aquinas won its own tournament with a 346 total. The Saints were followed by Siena Heights' 'B' team (349) and Cleary and Indiana Wesleyan (360).
Albion will square off against its Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rivals for the first time Sept. 24 when it travels to Alma for an 18-hole jamboree.
