HOLLAND, Mich. - Bobby Budlong generated four shots and Kyle Alsheskie and Mike Tolkacz contributed two shots apiece, but Albion's forwards were unable to get anything past Hope goalkeeper Ethan Beswick in a 1-0 loss to its Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rival.

It was the second consective 1-0 loss for Albion. The Britons, 2-2 against MIAA rivals, slipped into a tie with Alma for fourth place in the league standings.

Corey Stelk got his head on Josh Hagene's corner kick in the 14th minute for the only goal of the contest.

Albion placed four shots on goal (two in each half), but Beswick was up to the test every time.

Albion will hope its scoring picks up Wednesday when it returns home for a 4 o'clock contest against Adrian.
