GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Madison Kroetsch achieved a score in the 80s for the third consecutive round, helping Albion College achieve a sixth-place finish in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's golf jamboree at the Thornapple Pointe Golf Course.
Led by Kroetsch's round of 89, Albion finished with a 369 team score. Saint Mary's College finished atop the team standings at 333, followed by Olivet College (336), Hope College (340), Trine University (351), and Calvin College (360).
Megan Moco, another first-year player, finished with a score of 91. Celine McClimans and Christina Briden added scores of 92 and 97, respectively.
Trine will host the next MIAA Jamboree. The round will be played Saturday at the Zollner Golf Course.
