HOLLAND, Mich. – David Porte scored twice in a two-minute span of the second half to lift Hope College to a 2-0 victory over Albion College in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's soccer action.

Albion generated only one shot on goal in the contest. Evan Schweizer, one of two seniors on the roster, had his shot stopped by Hope goalkeeper Sam Barthel in the first half.

Andrew Bobowski, the other senior on Albion's roster, stopped four of the six shots he faced.

Albion's final home match of the season is a 4 p.m. Wednesday contest against Alma College.
