ALBION, Mich. - Ross Kynast and Will Pearl won the No. 2 doubles match, but that was the bright spot in Albion's 8-1 loss to Spring Arbor in a non-league men's tennis match played inside the Ungrodt Tennis Center.

Kynast and Pearl won their first doubles match of the year, turning back John Hall and Tony Mayotte, 8-4.

Spring Arbor won all six singles contests in straight sets.

Albion will travel to South Carolina for matches during spring break. The action begins Sunday when the Britons meet Bluefield College.
