ANGOLA, Ind. - No one on the Albion women's golf team had a round of 87 during the fall last season.
First-year player Madison Kroetsch had an impressive debut at the collegiate level Friday, shooting a round of 87 to lead the Britons to a fourth place finish in the Trine University Kick-Off Tournament.
Kroetsch finished in a tie for 11th on the individual leaderboard.
The Britons finished the day with a 365 total. Christina Briden scored a round of 91 to lock into a tie for 20th. Celine McClimans (93) and Megan Moco (94) completed the team score.
Albion's next event is the Olivet Fall Invitational on Sept. 11-12.
