MARSHALL, Mich. – First-year player Megan Moco turned in a career-best 85 and Celine McClimans achieved her best round of the season with an 87 as Albion College tied Alma College for fifth place in the first Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's golf jamboree of the season.
The Britons and Scots finished the day with 357 team scores.
Hope College (317), Olivet College (340), Trine University (345) and Saint Mary's College (346) were the top four teams.
Madison Kroetsch finished the day one stroke off her season-best with an 88 and Christina Briden and Katrina Tooker both had rounds of 97.
Kalamazoo will host the next MIAA Jamboree. The teams will gather Saturday at the Milham Park Golf Course.
