WESTERVILLE, Ohio - Zach McKenzie dropped three games in winning the No. 4 singles match, and that was the highlight for Albion College in an 8-1 loss to Otterbein University.
Otterbein won the first three singles flights in straight sets and the fifth and sixth flights were decided by pro sets.
Albion's best opportunity to score a doubles point was in the No. 2 flight. Josh McGarry and Peter Pappas extended the match to a tiebreaker where they lost 9-8 (7-4).
Albion's next match is an April 2 date against Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rival Calvin College in Grand Rapids.
