ALBION, Mich. - The Albion College men's tennis team celebrated one of the nicest days of the year by making quick work of Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rival Olivet College.
Greeted by the sun and with the temperature soaring near 80, the Britons defeated their league rival, 8-1, in a match that stretched a little more than two hours.
Peter Pappas won the No. 2 singles match 6-0 and 6-0, and Ross Kynast, Robert Joerg and Nick Kinatchouk all lost only one game in their respective singles matches. Zach McKenzie also won his singles contest.
Up next for Albion is a Tuesday home match against Hope College.
