ALMA, Mich. – Ross Kynast gave Albion its best opportunity for a point in a 9-0 loss to Alma College in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's tennis match.

Kynast, a senior from Highland, Mich., split the first two sets with Jared Guy at No. 1 singles. Guy clinched the match by winning the third set tiebreaker for a 6-3, 4-6, 7-6 (7-1) victory.

Alma won the other five singles matches in straight sets, though Peter Pappas and Josh McGarry pushed their rivals to 7-5 in the second set of their matches.

Albion completes the season 4-14 overall and 2-5 against MIAA rivals.
