KENYON, Ohio – Albion College swept non-league matches from Franklin (Ind.) College and Earlham (Ind.) College on the second day of the Kenyon College Invitational.

Albion d. Franklin 25-23, 25-21, 25-17

Stephanie Thurner hit .526 with 10 kills in 19 attempts and Lauren Outwater knocked down five solo blocks. Monica Shuk led the defensive effort with 10 digs.

Albion d. Earlham 25-16, 25-12, 25-17

Outwater pounded 10 kills, Marie Pregenzer added four blocks and Ami Milligan served up five aces. Shuk collected 17 digs

Albion returns to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association action Tuesday with a home match against Olivet College. The first serve is set for 6:30 p.m. at Kresge Gymnasium.
