Women's Golf Finishes Seventh In MIAA Round

Granger, Ind. – Playing on an unfamiliar course, Albion College turned in a seventh place finish at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's golf jamboree at Knollwood Country Club.

Madison Bowen led the team today with a score of 93 which tied her for 25thMadison Kroetsch (95), Megan Moco (96) and Annie Ford (99) also contributed to the 383 team score.

"A new course that almost no team in the MIAA had seen before. Most teams were about 20 shots higher than they normally are," Head Coach Jordan McArleton said.  "However, we definitely should have performed a little better and look forward to taking what we learned from today and using it in the next match on Tuesday."

Taylor Kehoe from St. Mary's College was the medalist today with a solid round of 77.

The next MIAA jamboree will be on Tuesday at The Ravines in Saugatuck.
