ALBION, Mich. – Albion College honored its seniors at the final home match of the season, but it was a first-year player – Joel Zaretti – who produced the goal as the Britons played to a 1-1 draw with Olivet College.

Zaretti's goal – his third of the season – put Albion in front with 15 minutes to play in the first half.

It didn't take long for Olivet to counter – 29 seconds, in fact – as Evan Shirkey scored the equalizer.

Albion placed four shots on goal in the second half but was unable to score.

Albion finished the match with a 26-18 edge in shots. Aaron Smit, one of the seniors, and Dakota Clapper took five shots apiece.

Albion (5-7-5 overall, 2-7-4 MIAA) begins the final week of the regular season with a Wednesday night match at Kalamazoo College.
