GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Nate Kozycki is back to the form that made him an All-American last season.
Kozycki, who finished eighth in the 100-yard butterfly in the NCAA Division III Championship in March, achieved a 23.80 leadoff split as Albion College set a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Relays meet record 1:34.28 in the 200 butterfly relay.
Kozycki was joined by Alec Nyboer (22.19), Evan Wonner (24.20) and Len Ciemniecki (24.09).
Kozycki was part of another meet record in the mixed 200 medley relay. His 22.22 split helped the Britons edge Calvin College by three-hundredths of a second. Kozycki was joined by Jake HUttenlocher and women Rileigh Eding and Nicole McCann.
"Nate was good tonight," Albion Head Coach Jake Taber said. "He was absolutely dominant in the fly."
Albion finished second in the 200 and 400 medley relay events.
Albion will return to Grand Rapids next weekend for the Calvin Quad.
