ALBION, Mich. – Adrian College defeated Albion College, 9-0, in the first Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's tennis match of the season for both teams.

Josh McGarry, playing No. 2 singles, and Robert Joerg, playing No. 3 singles, lost the first sets of their matches by 6-3 scores.

The No. 2 doubles match was a close contest. Joerg and McGarry lost the match, 8-6.

Albion plays at home again on Wednesday with a 4 o'clock match against Trine.
