Men's Tennis Unable To Break Through

HOLLAND, Mich. – Albion College played close matches at No. 3 doubles and No. 1 singles, but it was unable to break through in a 9-0 loss to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rival Hope College in men's tennis.

Toma Shngoo and Israel Trevino came up short at No. 3 doubles, 9-7.

Zach McKenzie took the first set from Michael Kiley, 6-3, at No. 1 singles. Kiley responded by winning the second set, 6-2, and a tiebreaker to decide the match, 10-5.

Albion (4-12 overall, 1-4 MIAA) will complete the season next week with matches at Calvin College (April 19) and Kalamazoo College (April 22).
