Box Score ALBION, Mich. – Albion College knew it needed a win Tuesday night to advance to the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men's Soccer Tournament. However, third-ranked Calvin College proved to be too much to overcome.
The Knights took a 4-1 victory to end Albion's season at 6-6-4 overall and 1-4-2 against MIAA rivals.
First-year forward Jason Warras tacked on his fourth goal of the season as the Britons scored the equalizer midway through the first half. Warras got his head on a corner kick from Kyle Bourlier.
Jacob Witte scored six minutes later to give Calvin the lead for good. Bobby McCaw scored a goal in each half and he dished out an assist. Ian Adams assisted on two goals.
