CHILLICOTHE, Ohio – Albion College swept the singles matches as the men's tennis team gained its first victory of the season with a 7-2 decision over Wittenberg University.

Josh McGarry, Robert Joerg, Israel Trevino, Nick Kinachtchouk, Patrick Barclay and Chandler Martin all won their singles matches in straight sets. McGarry, playing No. 1 singles, and Trevino, playing No. 3, had to pull out tiebreakers to win the first set of their respective matches.

Joerg and Trevino teamed up for the Britons point in doubles.

The Britons will return to campus tomorrow for a 1 o'clock home match against Heidelberg University.
