ALBION, Mich. – Colin Corcoran, Ryan Crater, Connor Pike, Brendan Whitty each scored two goals in the first half to power John Carroll University to a 13-5 victory over Albion College in a non-league men's lacrosse match at the Davis Athletic Complex.

Albion took the early lead as David DiRado scored his seventh goal of the season less than two minutes into the contest.

John Carroll tacked on the next eight goals to seize control of the game.

Harrison Palmer scored twice and Alec Palmer chipped in with a goal as Albion cut the deficit to 8-4 midway through the third quarter.

John Carroll repelled the Albion rally with goals from Macgregor Roberts and Kevin Hack to make the score 10-4 after three quarters.

Harrison Palmer added a score for Albion in the fourth quarter, giving him three goals for the night. DiRado and Alec Palmer finished with a goal and an assist each.

Albion will travel to Westerville, Ohio, on Saturday for a non-league game at Otterbein University.
