ALBION, Mich. – Nick Kinachtchouk and Josh McGarry gave Albion College the best opportunity at a point Saturday, but neither could break through as the Britons took a 9-0 loss to Hope College in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's tennis match.

Hope's Danny Kroeze defeated McGarry 6-2, 6-3 in the No. 1 singles match. Justin Folkert defeated Kinachtchouk 6-4, 6-3 at No. 4.

Albion's next match is an April 18 home date versus Calvin College.
