Box Score RICHARDSON, Texas – The University of Texas at Dallas outscored Albion College by 18 points in the fourth quarter to pull away for a 77-68 victory over the Britons in non-league women's basketball action on Sunday.
Albion led 27-15 after the first quarter and it led 51-42 after three.
Emily Bernas, Rain Hinton and Evelyn Wischmeyer scored 13 points apiece for the Britons.
In the process, Bernas moved into 10th place on the Albion women's basketball all-time scoring list. The senior from Waterford, Mich., has produced 961 points in 87 games with the Britons. Next on the list is Oreyana Curry, who finished her career in 2017 with 1,038 points.
Amanda Larson pulled down a career-high 17 rebounds and she matched her career-high with three blocks.
Albion, 9-2 overall, will play its final non-league game of the season at 1 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday when it meets Concordia (Texas) University.

Joe and Julie Serra have given a $5 million leadership gift to launch a fundraising initiative to make two dreams a reality at Albion College. The first is a newly expanded fitness and student activity facility at the site of the current Dow Recreation and Wellness Center. The second is a new or renovated competition facility for the volleyball, men's basketball and women's basketball teams that currently call Kresge Gymnasium home.
