ALBION, Mich. - Albion falls to Greenville 7-2 in their first home match of the new year. The two points both came on the singles side for the Britons. Matt Czarnecki dominated by winning both sets 7-5, and 6-1. It was Sagar Kamaraju who was able to win a close match versus Zach Merrill. Kamaraju lost the first set 6-4 but bounced back in set two winning 7-5 and then winning the tie-breaker 10-6 to secure the victory.
On the doubles side, Czarnecki and Kamaraju teamed up for the Britons closest contest of the day. The pair lost 8-7 after losing the tie-breaker 7-4.
The Britons are home next Sunday against Indiana South-Bend where first serve will be at 10:00 AM.

Joe and Julie Serra have given a $5 million leadership gift to launch a fundraising initiative to make two dreams a reality. The first is a newly expanded fitness and student activity facility at the site of the current Dow Recreation and Wellness Center. The second is a new or renovated facility for the volleyball, men's basketball and women's basketball teams that currently call Kresge Gymnasium home.
