Two singles matches went three sets and two doubles matches went to tiebreakers, but in the end Albion fell to Bridgewater College (Va.), 6-3, Friday in Hilton Head, S.C.

The Briton doubles team of Patrick and Stephen Smoker defeated Robert Williard and Leyton Pullin, 8-7 (7-2) while a second doubles match featuring Albion duo Matt Czarnecki and Sagar Kamaraju fell to Nick Kiser and Sonet Gandhi 8-7, (7-4).

In singles, Czarnecki went three sets in defeating Kiser, 6-3, 4-6, 10-6 and Kamaraju beat Williard, 6-2, 6-0. Tselmeg Mendsaikhan also took his match to three sets before falling to Pulin 6-2, 1-6, 3-10.
